Easel Update
oday I have darkened the background, given both the cherries and bowl more form and added to the butterfly.

To increase my artwork production I intend to begin working on more than one painting at a time. I have always worked one primarily and waited until that is finished before beginning another. Times are changing and I am adopting some new ideas for my studio. Continue reading

First Frame Filled
As part of my new project I have filled one frame already. This new painting is 5 x 17 inches and is matted and framed to 8 x 20. Five juicy plums sitting here on the shelf just had to be painted. I love the way the painterly background texture contrasts with the firm flesh of the plums. Continue reading
